Day 6 Crete Greece

I finally got up. It's about noon. I feel much better. Thank God. I thought I was going to die in my bed last night. My entire body was in so much pain. I wanted to cry. My room was warm but there was a part of last night when I was jittering uncontrollably underneath the blankets...out of coldness and pain. I couldn't do anything but curl up in my bed and pray that I would be ok the following day. It was only Tuesday. I had several days left before home. I am so thankful that my legs can now walk. I am still sore, and look very, very funny when I walk. Which is going to be interesting because my plan today is to walk around Crete, check some museums, and go shopping. I can't stay in my bed all day. I did that yesterday. Also, I've never wanted to buy souvenir as much as I do right now. I need to go to the main shopping area. There's something about this trip that makes me want to buy stuff to remind me of it. This is also new because, as you know, I am cheap. I don't usually buy objects or "stuff" for the mere sake of buying. I have a tight grip to my money when it comes to spending on "stuff." Especially if it's for myself. I won't let go of it that easily. Yet, so far, all I've bought is mainly for myself. Oooops.

Ok. I am heading out. Love ya!

  1. I so proud of you going on this trip. Seriously. An inspiration. Also, I think that mortin might be a good remedy for your aches and pains. Better than wine.

  3. Rhea - Spain, please!!!

Yvonne - Unfortunately, I don't do pain reliever pills. So I did suffer tremendously. Ouch. On a good note, it only took 2 days to heal up. =) After 4 days, no pain whatsoever.
